The only problem for me...is I know my mom wouldn't do it so pretty much I would only be able to do what I can to save electricity...which is lock myself in my room with a flash light, and a book and read for a solid hour. It's not like I haven't been doing that the past week...because...well...I have.
Anyway, I have been reading a lot this week. I've read three very awesome books and I'd recommend them to anybody who loves a good story. The books are: "An Abundance Of Katherine's" by John Green, "13 Little Blue Envelopes" by Maureen Johnson(And no I am not just writing 13 because I'm to lazy to spell it out, that's how it is on the cover of the book.), and "Looking For Alaska" by John Green. I found all three to be very good. They kept my interest, and left me wanting more. I didn't want to put any of them down. Though in the case of An Abundance of Katherine's I had to wait till the weekend was over before I could finish. I Volunteered at Camp Awanita this past weekend and there was no time to even read a page (and trust me I tried!!). So if you are looking for a book that delivers a great story line and keeps you at the edge of the seat wondering what happens next I recommend all three.
Anyway like I said I went to Awanita, but I didn't just go for another volunteer weekend, it was also a interview weekend for anyone wanting to be summer staff. It was a great weekend, and it has gotten me excited for the summer. Only two more months. I should be getting the packet for everything about the summer in the mail either this coming up week or the week after that. I'm super excited. I'm hoping that I don't make the same mistake I did last summer and I can actually come away from it feeling like I did work for God.
Other than that I've been message bands to ask if I can play their music on my radio show BGCG Radio [link] , and researching for The New Rock Podcast, which we had to record early this wek due to Brandon's new job and the scheduling. I don't mind though. I do wish I would have known sooner, that way I could have gone to the CIPA Championships. oh well. At least I got to see the guards and winter line perform once this season.
That's pretty much it. Sorry for the run on sentences. I actually hate run-on sentences, but today it's the only way I could get my points across.
Earth Hour in T-minus one hour nine minutes. I better go take a shower now.
DFTBA
Best Wishes
